Today at The Ritz Carlton, Phoenix, Oceania Cruises is hosting the first of eight ‘Marina Premiere’ events to showcase its newbuild to travel agents in North America and London.
The road show reflects Oceania’s on-board product with the stops offering a Champagne reception and live music followed by a gourmet lunch. Senior company executives are using a multi-media format to present Marina, due to set sail next January.

‘Marina is the first ship we have designed from scratch to deliver the award-winning Oceania Cruises experience,’ said Frank Del Rio, the company’s co-founder and chairman and ceo of parent Prestige Cruise Holdings. ‘Naturally, we are very proud of her and can’t wait to present her to our travel agent partners here and abroad.’

During the events, Oceania’s management team will preview Marina’s interior design elements including the Lalique grand lobby staircase and Owner’s Suites furnished in Ralph Lauren Home. Attendees will learn more about the 10 dining venues, six of which are no-charge, gourmet restaurants.

After Phoenix, the road show moves to the Montage, Beverly Hills (Feb. 2), Bently Reserve, San Francisco (Feb. 5), Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London (March 2), W Hotel, Fort Lauderdale (March 11), The Waldorf Astoria, New York (March 16), Windsor Arms, Toronto (March 19) and Chicago History Museum (March 23).

Led by Del Rio, executives participating in the road show include Oceania president Bob Binder, svp sales Jeff Drew, svp sales administration Michael Hirsch, svp marketing James Rodriguez and senior corporate communications director Tim Rubacky.
